When anyone attends a youth ministry event, please know we are taking every reasonable precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19  While no ordinary measures can prevent contagion 100%, we are confident that our procedures, the social distancing employed, and cleaning protocols will go a long way towards making our parish a safe place to grow in our Catholic Church. Be alert to all parish communications so that we may help keep everyone safe.

At parent request, we return with more John Paul II’sTheology of the Body (TOB). TOB is part of the standards of all Archdiocesan schools; parental understanding is foundational. 

Learn, discuss and ask questions as we cover expert Christopher West’s Theology of the Body for Beginners. If you missed us last time, it’s not too late to attend ongoing sessions! Please consider reading the first 3 chapters before attending. Although this book and other resources are available for purchase through Therese Hartley, and will be available at the meeting, they are NOT required for attendance.

Marge Henkel Youth Ministry Garden*

 

All junior high students are invited to the Youth Ministry Drop-In on Wed, Oct 6, immediately following the St Luke School’s early dismissal. Drop-Ins are a casual time for students to relax together and enjoy games, food, fun and friendship. See you there! No RSVP needed.


Students should meet in the gym lobby and parent pick-up will be in back parking lot.


*The weather contingency location is the Fr. Courtney Reception Room; in this case, pick-up will be at main entrance.

 

Pro-Life Crosses & Christmas Store

We’ll take down the Pro-Life crosses in the front lawn for the end of 40 Days for Life and make donation tree tags for Catholic Charities’ Christmas Store. Everyone welcome!

We love our college students (L.O.C.K.) and military personnel. Please let us know where you or your adult child is this year! will be next year! Please update the Parish Office with email, cell phone number, and new school mailing address. The Youth Ministry program mails care packages a few times a year — don’t miss out because we don’t have your contact information!
